AL GHABRA
(Ruminaja Ali x AK Azaaliah)
Al Ghabra is a 1989 Blue List, Al Khamsa gray mare.  She is an extremely tall mare measuring 15.3 hands.  Al Ghabra has an extremely long neck, great length of legs and an extended trot.  Her canter is a rolling motion and she would make an extremely comfortable mare to ride.  She is not broken to ride nor has she been shown at halter.

Al Ghabra's sire is the world-renowned stallion, Ruminaja Ali.   Anyone that knows Egyptian horses will recognize his name.  He is still one of the most influential stallions the Egyptian world has ever seen with more sons and daughters in the winners circle than any other stallion living or deceased.

On the dam side of Al Ghabra's pedigree, again we find such important individuals as *Ibn Moniet el Nefous, famous in his own right, but his dam, Moniet al Nefous has produced more National winners than any other E.A.O. based mares.  These winners include Top Ten stallion *Ibn Moniet el Nefous, *Bint Moniet el Nefous, *Souufian, and *Tuhotmos.

Al Ghabra has had 4 foals, 2 blacks 1 chestnut filly and one gray colt.  Her grandmother on her dam's side is the immortal *Cleopatra, a black mare of rare distinction.  Al Ghabra carries this black gene and will produce mostly blacks and chestnut colored offspring.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT...
Al Ghabra foaled a gray Al Adeed Al Shaqab filly on September 28, 2005.  This is the first Straight Egyptian Filly of Al Adeed born in North America.  She's a pretty little thing with a great head and nice long legs.  Photos will be available soon done by a professional since she is so special.  We are very pleased with this cross and will no doubt rebreed Al Ghabra back to Al Adeed.  Check back later for photos.
