NASI SHAFI

(The Minstril x Layalia by Alidaar)

Nasi Shafi is a true black 1993 Straight Egyptian mare.  She is a very spirited and flashy mare with two white socks and an oval star.  She prances like a stallion, has a short back, high tail set and an extremely typey head. 

Nasi could win a "Most Classic Head" competitiion easily with her large jowels, pronounced dish and buggy eyes.

Nasi's sire, The Minstril, has garnished many wins in his show career and has many credentials to his credit.  Egyptian Event West Supreme Champion stallion, US National Futurity Top Ten stallion and Canadian National Championships Top Ten stallion are but a few.  Her maternal Grandsire, Alidaar,  has won many championships in the United States, Europe and now in the Mid East where he is standing at stud at the famous Al Shaqab Stud in Qatar.  Alidaar is a full brother to Ruminaja Ali and has sired 185 foals, many of them known the world over.  With a pedigree like Nasi has, she is sure to produce many winners of her own.
